Episode 51 | The Mandalorian

At long last details of a live action Star Wars series have finally been announced. The Mandalorian will grace the streaming airwaves in 2019 when Disney launches its new service and Jon Favreau’s entry into the galaxy will be added to the canon.

Join us for our thoughts on the series and where we hope it will take us in the galaxy as well as reaction to the joyous news that Kathleen Kennedy will return for at least three more years to lead Lucasfilm. Plus, we discuss the news that a large portion of the Last Jedi backlash was Russian bots as well as excitement for the premiere of Resistance.

Episode 44 | Ep IX Cast

Production has begun for the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga! JJ Abrams and crew began rolling cameras on August 1st and prior to that announced the cast for Episode IX.

A few surprises included Mark Hamill returning, new cast members like Keri Russell, and in the biggest news of the announcement, Carrie Fisher will portray Princess Leia once more. Unused footage from The Force Awakens will help conclude her story and the Droids have reaction to the news on this week’s pod.
