Episode 15 | Rian Johnson’s Trilogy

Planet-shattering news (apologies Alderaan), Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has been tasked with creating a brand new Star Wars trilogy separate from the Skywalker Saga! Lucasfilm announced Thursday that Johnson would write and direct the first of a “blank canvas” trio of films that explore an unknown corner of the galaxy. Chris, Mike, Ryan and Sam discuss with glee all of the possibilities that come from this news and what it means for the future of the franchise.

Plus, Disney also announced that a live action Star Wars TV series would be coming to it’s new streaming platform in the next few years. A major expansion to the Star Wars canon is upon us and The Droids You’re Looking For has all of the elated instant reactions.
